No matter whether you are a football player, baseball player, or Olympic lifter, you need to have optimal shoulder mobility.
At Force Barbell, we incorporate tests in our assessment to determine whether or not your shoulders need more mobility. More often than not, especially in highly trained athletes, more shoulder mobility is needed. For the purposes of training inside the walls of Force Barbell, we want more mobility because it will allow you to train safely and effectively to get bigger, faster, and stronger.
That is not to say the benefits of increased mobility do not carry on to places outside the weight room. They do. Being a stronger and healthier athlete will allow you to play your sport better and for longer.
